What Is Styku?
There’s never been a more powerful, precise, and complete presentation of physical assessment data than Styku! A sophisticated 3D infrared scanner measures and provides a detailed analysis in minutes. Determine your fat and lean body mass. Look at your visceral fat and discover your risk for many illnesses based on your analysis. Most importantly, explore how you can reach healthier levels of fitness to improve your health! You’ll see yourself as you really are, and you’ll see your progress as you’ve never seen it before!
How is the Styku 3D Body Scan Done?
Tape measures are notoriously error prone and potentially awkward. Calipers can be uncomfortable and even painful. Styku is a quick and non-invasive platform to get the measurements you need. Simply stand on the Styku turntable—facing forward with arms slightly extended—and hold still for 35 seconds while the platform revolves. Styku captures millions of data points and after the scan is complete, your results are displayed for an accurate 3D representation of you that’s viewable from a variety of perspectives. You can rotate, pan, zoom, and nest silhouettes to see real progress. It’s an honest, objective way to measure yourself as you progress toward your health and fitness goals.
What To Expect at Your Styku Appointment
Styku sessions are approximately 20-30 minutes and include the scan and data evaluation. A detailed Styku report will be emailed directly to your inbox, so you can take time absorbing all the fascinating information provided. To monitor your progress, your data will remain in the system for comparison with future scans.
You’ll want to make sure you dress simply with minimal, form-fitting clothing to get the most accurate measurements. Options include sports bras, form-fitting tights, leggings, underwear, or form-fitting swimwear. Loose fitting clothing will result in inaccurate measurements. Socks should be light colored or removed. You’ll also need to remove your shoes, hat, watch and large jewelry. Longer hair needs to be pulled into a loose bun – we have hair ties available. Plan on attending your assessment “dressed to be assessed” by wearing the proper assessment attire under your outerwear.
